FOREST CUTTING WASTE OR REFUSE: OR OTHER COMPARABLE WASTE ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An apparatus for chipping waste such as forest cutting waste into chips, or refuse and the like into small pieces. In addition to driving and operation devices, the apparatus comprises an input device for the waste, a device for chipping it and a collection and feed-out device for the chips or small pieces produced. The input device consists of a pivotally mounted lifting means which can be extended and retracted relative to the apparatus, and has grapple for bringing the waste to a hopper in the apparatus. The hopper has a plane, inclined downwards towards the chipper, with slots in which movable feed-in means operate for feeding the waste into the chipper.
