An apparatus for clarification of industrial sewage comprises a vertical cylindrical chamber for circulation of industrial sewage with a conical bottom secured to which are a branch pipe for feeding the polluted industrial sewage with flocculants, and a branch pipe for discharging the slurry. Secured outside of the cylindrical chamber at its upper edge is a circular trough for draining the purified sewage while inside the chamber are arranged partitions for settling of solid particles and at least one separating partition in the form of a body of revolution with holes for distributing polluted sewage over the volume of the chamber, said partition being installed axially in the central part of the chamber with its upper edge arranged level with the upper edge of the chamber. Installed above the separating partition is a pressuretight bell-shaped housing communicating with an air rarefaction means.
Cette invention concerne une installation de clarification d'eaux résiduaires industrielles comprenant une enceinte cylindrique verticale de mise en circulation des eaux résiduaires à fond conique dans lequel débouche une canalisation d'alimentation en flocculant et une autre canalisation servant à évacuer les boues décantées. Monté au sommet de l'enceinte cylindrique se trouve une rigole circulaire extérieure servant à la reprise de l'eau purifiée tandis que l'intérieur de l'enceinte comporte des cloisons pour la décantation des particules solides et au moins une cloison de séparation prenant la forme d'un solide de révolution perforé pour la distribution homogène des eaux résiduaires dans l'enceinte, ladite cloison de séparation étant monté sur un axe centré dans l'enceinte de manière que son bord supérieur soit de niveau avec le bord supérieur de l'enceinte. Cette cloison de séparation est surmonté d'un carter étanche en forme de cloche raccordé à un moyen d'abaissement de la pression ambiante.
