ABSTRACT "AN APPARATUS FOR CLEANING CONTAINERS"/ The object of the present invention is an apparatus for cleaning containers, particularly those used for bottles. In order to achieve a compact unit and simultaneous intensive cleaning of the containers the apparatus is characterized according to the present invention by a container inlet (2), an adjacent spirally wound guide (6) for the container (1), at least one container drive (5) that is arranged so as to be rotatable within the spiral guide (6), this having integrated spray nozzles (16) for the cleaning agent, and a container outlet (8) that is arranged after the spiral guide (6)./ (Figure 5).
