An apparatus for containing liquid spillage at a line connection includes a receptacle having a bottom, a peripheral sidewall having an upper peripheral edge, a liquid line receiving opening which extends through the peripheral sidewall, and at least one liquid line insertion channel extending from the upper peripheral edge to the liquid line receiving opening. A mounting support is provided which is adapted to secure the receptacle to a liquid line. The mounting support carries a first half of a pipe clamp. A second half of a pipe clamp is detachably secured to the first half of the pipe clamp. The first half and the second half of the pipe clamp are adapted to clamp around the liquid line.
