An apparatus for continually skimming off a top layer of a body of liquid, comprising: a self-adjusting container for collecting a top layer, the container being adapted to seek an effective balanced position dependent on the liquid level for collecting the top layer, and a discharge conduit for discharging the top layer collected by the container, wherein the container is tiltably coupled to a discharge conduit. A feeding inlet is provided through which the top layer is collected. A bearing made of friction reducing material is provided between the container wall and discharge conduit, with a clearance to minimize frictional contact and to allow leakage flow from the body of liquid into the container.
L~invention concerne un dispositif d~écrémage continu de la couche supérieure (2) d~un corps liquide 3) qui comprend un conteneur auto-réglable (4) pour recueillir ladite couche supérieure, ledit conteneur étant adapté à prendre une position équilibrée en fonction du niveau de liquide pour recueillir la couche supérieure, et un conduit d~évacuation (7) pour évacuer la couche supérieure recueillie par ledit conteneur, ce dernier étant inclinable autour dudit conduit d~évacuation. Une entrée d~alimentation (5) est prévue par laquelle la couche supérieure est recueillie. Un matériel réducteur anti-friction est prévu entre la paroi du conteneur et le conduit d~évacuation, avec un dégagement pour minimiser le contact de friction et pour permettre l~écoulement de fuite du corps de liquide dans le conteneur.
