ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An apparatus for continuous liquid-solid separation comprises a plurality of suction boxes each of which has a suction hole on a rear surface and a flat perforated surface at a front surface, said suction boxes being connected in series to form a conveyor and said suction holes being connected to a suction trough so as to provide suction in the suction boxes in the zone of the suction trough, a filter cloth in contact with the perforated surfaces of the suction boxes held by side plates which can be closed and opened at both sides of the suction boxes, the filter cloth and the suction boxes being adapted to be moved at synchronized velocity under suction.
