ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Apparatus for continuously pressing material, more particularly heterogeneous material, e.g. peat, cellulose pulp, fruit pulp, and ground olives, so as to express the liquid. The apparatus comprises at least one pressing zone comprising one belt consisting of pressure-resilient material and one screening belt, a feed means for the material being provided to distribute the material over an inner zone of the pressing belt.
