The invention relates to track systems (14, 14') that may be used to convert steerable, all-wheel drive construction equipment to steerable, multi-track construction vehicles (10). A preferred embodiment of the track system (14, 14') includes a frame (60, 182) having a reinforcing enclosure (150, 230), a plurality of track engaging rollers (82-86, 202-206), a sprocket (102, 214), and an endless track (76, 198) operatively connected to the frame (60, 182). Tension on the endless track (76, 198) is maintained with two tensioning members (170, 244) operatively connected to the forwardmost roller (82, 202). The track system (14, 14') preferably includes a limiting apparatus (300) that is configured to restrict the rotational movement "r" of the frame (60, 182) relative to a vehicle axle (16) to which it is attached.
L'invention porte sur des systèmes de chenilles (14, 14 ') permettant de convertir des engins de TP dirigeables sur roues à traction intégrale en engins chenillés (10). Dans l'exécution préférée, un système de chenille (14, 14 ') comporte: un cadre (60, 182) portant une enceinte renforcée (150, 230), plusieurs rouleaux (82-86, 202-206) maintenant la chenille, une roue dentée (102, 214), et une chenille sans fin (76, 198) fonctionnellement connecté au cadre (60, 182). La tension de la chenille (76, 198) est assurée par deux tendeurs (170, 244) fonctionnellement connecté au rouleau avant (82, 202). Un système de chenille (14, 14 ') comporte de préférence un limiteur (300) de la rotation "r" du cadre (60, 182) par rapport au véhicule (16) auquel il est fixé. Le limiteur (300) présente un premier composant (40), associé à l'essieu du véhicule (16) et interagissant avec un deuxième composant (262) associé au cadre du système de chenille (14, 14). Le limiteur (300) est de préférence réglable pour permettre de faire varier l'angle de rotation "r".
