An apparatus for detecting physiological or contextual information includes a flexible section(s), a housing removably attached thereto, one or more sensors and a processor. The apparatus may have adjustable operating parameters. An alternate apparatus measures heat flux and includes a housing, a known resistivity base member, a processing unit and two temperature measuring devices, one in thermal communication with the body and the other in thermal communication with the ambient environment. Another alternate apparatus includes a housing having an adhesive on a surface thereof for attaching the housing to the body. A further alternate apparatus includes a housing having an inner surface having perpendicular concave and convex shapes. An apparatus for detecting heart parameters includes an acoustic-based non-ECG heart parameter sensor and a filtering sensor(s) for generating a filtering signal related to the non-heart related motion of the body.
L'invention concerne un appareil de détection d'informations physiologiques ou contextuelles comprenant une (des) section(s) flexible(s), un boîtier fixé à ladite (lesdites) section(s) de manière détachable, un ou plusieurs capteurs et un processeur. L'appareil peut comporter des paramètres opérationnels réglables. Un autre appareil mesure le flux de chaleur et comporte un boîtier, un élément de base de résistivité connue, une unité de traitement et deux dispositifs de mesure de la température, un en communication thermique avec le corps et l'autre en communication thermique avec l'environnement. Selon une autre variante, un appareil comprend un boîtier ayant un adhésif sur sa surface permettant de fixer le boîtier au corps. On prévoit encore un autre appareil comportant un boîtier ayant une surface interne ayant des formes concaves et convexes perpendiculaires. On prévoit en outre un appareil de détection et de paramètres du coeur comprenant un capteur de paramètre du coeur sans électrocardiogramme acoustique et un (des) capteur(s) de filtrage permettant de générer un signal de filtrage en rapport avec le mouvement du corps sans rapport avec le coeur.
