ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An apparatus for developing electrical energy. The apparatus has a movable platform. There is a mount at the centre of gravity of the platform about which the platform can move. Liquid can be supplied to the top of the plat- form, to a side of the pivotable mount. The supply of liquid is controllable. The sun's rays are concentrated on the platform to heat the platform and an electrical generator is associated with the platform and is operable to generate electricity by movement of the platform.
