ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Disclosed is an apparatus for developing electro- photographic copying materials which eliminates the damage to flexible copying materials encountered with conventional developing apparatus. This apparatus comprises a pair of feed rollers for applying toner dispersion to the copying material, a guide plate for supporting the copying material within the apparatus, a distributor element for the toner dispersion which acts as a counter-electrode, means for adjustably positioning the distributor element in parallel relation above the guide plate, and a pair of squeegee rollers for removing excess toner dispersion from the copy- ing material.
