An apparatus for dispensing golf balls is provided in which a plurality of golf balls can be stored and carried in the apparatus. A golfer can extract a ball from the chamber when a ball is needed, but otherwise the balls are generally retained within the apparatus during storage and carriage. The apparatus has a dispenser portion with a chamber and an aperture communicating between the chamber and the exterior of the apparatus. The apparatus also includes a presentation means which loads the chamber with another golf ball upon extraction of a loaded ball from the chamber. In one embodiment, the presentation means comprises a shaft and a biasing means to urge balls towards the dispenser portion, thus providing a portable unit which holds a plurality of balls and can be readily stored in a golf bag to provide access of golf balls therefrom.
