IMPROVEMENT IN APPARATUS FOR DISPERSING FINELY DIVIDED SOLID PARTICLES IN A LIQUID VEHICLE ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Apparatus for dispersing solid particles in a liquid vehicle utilizing a combination spring check valve and dump valve disposed in the base of the mixing vessel of the apparatus, the check valve being disposed in the inlet to the mixing vessel to open in response to the feed pressure of the material being fed through the valve into the mixing vessel, the valve further including means for opening same to allow drainage therethrough of liquid material in the vessel.
