Apparatus for electrostatic coating of objects A B S T R A C T In an apparatus suitable for using so-called water-enamel, or some other similar conductive coating material, the electrical field charging the sprayed particles is produced between the grounded spraying edge (6) of a bell-atomizer (1) and two or three needle-shaped outer electrodes (20) distributed radially around the said atomizer at a predetermined minimum distance therefrom and to which a high voltage is applied. This makes it possible to obtain an optimal field distribution without having to insulate the bell-atomizer (1) and the paint- supply system from ground.
