ABSTRACT Apparatus for enclosing objects in inflated balloons is disclosed. A vacuum chamber is provided with a cover having a tube projecting into same from the atmosphere. A balloon can be positioned over the tube, such that it will inflate when the chamber is evacuated by operation of a blower such as that of a conventional vacuum cleaner. Objects can be inserted in the balloon via the tube. The tube can then be capped and the cover removed, and the balloon can be tied off with the object inside. Alternatively, the vacuum chamber can be inverted, and the balloon placed over a then upwardly projecting tube which contains a table on which the object to be inserted rests. The flow of air is reversed, such that blower inflates the balloon rather than evacuating the vacuum chamber. The tube is then drawn down past the table to enclose the object, and the balloon can be tied off with the object inside.
