The invention relates to an apparatus for flow-line treatment of articles under artificial atmosphere, the said apparatus comprising: at least one vacuum working chamber (13) provided with treatment means for processing of the articles; means for maintaining the artificial atmosphere in the said working chamber, locks (12) in the ends of the vacuum working chamber; transport means for transporting the articles through at least one working chamber and the locks; loading and unloading devices (10) in the ambient atmosphere; and transportation means; wherein: each of the locks comprises a movable body (2), installed inside airtight shells (4), each this body comprises at least one cavity (5); the bodies are movable between a first position, in which the cavity is in connection with the first chamber and the transport means in the first chamber extend into the cavity, and a second positon, in which the cavity is in connection with a second chamber, being located at the other side of the lock, while the transport means in the second chamber extend into the cavity; and the gap between the shell and the body is an air gap (3) seal.
L'invention a trait à un appareil de traitement à la chaîne d'articles dans une atmosphère artificielle, ledit appareil comportant: au moins une chambre de traitement à vide (13) équipée d'un moyen de traitement pour traiter les articles; un dispositif servant à maintenir l'atmosphère artificielle dans ladite chambre de traitement; des sas (12) aux extrémités de la chambre de traitement à vide; un moyen de transport pour transporter les articles à travers au moins une chambre de traitement et les sas; des dispositifs de chargement et de déchargement (10) en atmosphère ambiante; et un moyen de transport. Dans cet appareil, chacun des sas comporte un corps mobile installé dans des enveloppes hermétiques, chacun de ces corps comportant au moins une cavité; les corps peuvent être déplacés entre une première position dans laquelle la cavité communique avec la première chambre et le moyen de transport de la première chambre s'étend dans la cavité, et une deuxième position dans laquelle la cavité communique avec une deuxième chambre située de l'autre côté du sas, pendant que le moyen de transport de la deuxième chambre s'étend dans la cavité; l'espace entre l'enveloppe et le corps constituant un joint d'étanchéité à l'air.
