ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Apparatus for producing corrugated or the like tubing from extruded plastic material of the type wherein two endless conveyor chain bring a plurality of consecutive half- dies together and advance same along the axis of an extrusion nozzle in the form of a closed, substantially straight, elon- gated die consisting of a number of mutually connected half- dies to mold the wall of the plastic tubing coming from the nozzle. Air pressure is generated inside the tubing to force it against corrugated inside surface of the dies. The con- veyor chains are adapted to train about special sprockets which are arranged to bring two subsequent half-dies of one of the conveyor chains in such a manner that the leading face of one half-die contacts the trailing end face of preceeding half-die of the same chain before said one half-die is brought into contact with its associated second half-die of the opposite chain.
