The present invention relates to a DPCCH (Dedicated Physical Control Channel) gating system in a mobile com- munication system. A UTRAN (UMTS Terrestrial Radio Access Network) transmits a gating start order or a gating end order to a UE (User Equipment) through a TFCI (Transport Format Combination Indicator) symbol according to whether there exists data transmitted over a forward PCCH (Physical Common Channel) and a forward DPDCH (Dedicated Physical Data Channel), thereby to start or end gating the DPCCH.

L'invention concerne un système de déclenchement périodique pour une voie de commande physique spécialisée (DPCCH) dans un système de communication mobile.
