An apparatus includes a blade unit including having upright blades connected fixedly to an upright rod that has a lower end disposed pivotally in a base such that the blade unit is rotatable relative to the base to convert wind energy into a mechanical rotary power output, and coupled to a generator in the base to convert the mechanical rotary power output into electric power. Each blade has opposite first and second side surfaces. The first side surface of each blade faces the second side surface of an adjacent blade. A wind-collecting unit includes upright plates fixed on the base, angularly equidistant and disposed around the blade unit. Any two adjacent plates define an inwardly converging wind-guiding channel therebetween. The plates are shaped so that wind is guided by the plates to blow onto the first side surfaces of the blades via the wind-guiding channels.
Il s'agit d'un appareil dont l'unité de pales est munie d'éléments verticaux assujettis solidairement à une tige centrale verticale dont la base est montée sur un pivot permettant à l'unité de tourner sur elle-même, par rapport à la base, pour transformer ainsi l'énergie éolienne en un mouvement de rotation qui entraîne à son tour un générateur servant à convertir l'énergie mécanique en électricité. Chaque pale a deux surfaces opposées dont la première fait face au côté secondaire de la pale adjacente. Un collecteur de vent comprend des plaques verticales fixées sur la base et espacées selon des angles égaux autour de l'unité de pales. Toutes les paires de pales adjacentes définissent un canal convergeant vers l'intérieur qui sert à guider le vent entre les pales. Ces dernières sont formées de telle sorte que le vent souffle sur les surfaces primaires des pales en s'engouffrant dans les canaux de guidage.
