The invention concerns an apparatus (1) comprising a chassis (10) supported on the ground (S), a mobile platform (44) supporting a subject, and motorized means (30, 32, 38) for driving the platform relative to the chassis. In order to put the subject off balance while moving its lifting polygon, so as to act on the subject's body according to advanced kinematics, the driving means are capable of moving the platform off-center relative to a substantially vertical fixed axis (Z-Z) and of driving the platform in rotation about said axis when the platform is off-center, whereas the platform is provided with peripheral mobile supporting means (60, 62) on corresponding bearing means (64) secured to the chassis (10), said supporting means being capable of resting the platform on the chassis by adjustably inclining same relative to the horizontal in a plane passing through the fixed axis and a central region of the platform when the driving means move the platform off-center relative to said axis. The apparatus thus generates remarkable neuro-biomechanical actions, while having a reliable lightweight and compact structure.
Cet appareil (1) comporte un châssis (10) d'appui au sol (S), un plateau mobile (44) de support d'un sujet, et des moyens motorisés (30, 32, 38) d'entraînement du plateau par rapport au châssis. Pour permettre de déséquilibrer le sujet tout en déplaçant son polygone de sustentation, afin d'agir sur le corps du sujet suivant une cinématique élaborée, les moyens d'entraînement sont adaptés, d'une part, pour excentrer le plateau par rapport à un axe fixe (Z-Z) sensiblement vertical et, d'autre part, pour entraîner le plateau en rotation autour de cet axe lorsque le plateau est excentré, tandis que le plateau est muni de moyens périphériques (60, 62) d'appui mobile sur des moyens de portée correspondants (64) solidaires du châssis (10), ces moyens d'appui étant adaptés pour faire reposer le plateau sur le châssis en l'inclinant de manière réglable par rapport à l'horizontale dans un plan passant par l'axe fixe et une zone centrale du plateau lorsque les moyens d'entraînement excentrent le plateau par rapport à cet axe. L'appareil génère ainsi des actions neuro-biomécaniques remarquables, tout en présentant une structure fiable, légère et peu encombrante.
