A mill (10) for grinding a spice or grain material has a grinding mechanism including: a lever (14) mounted for pivotal movement about a lever axis, a grinder bit (18) mounted for rotational movement about a grinder bit rotational axis (32), the grinder bit rotational axis being at least approximately parallel to the lever axis, and a linkage (20) coupled to the grinder bit and coupled to the lever to transfer pivotal movement from the lever to the grinding bit. The grinder bit may be cylindrical and include a gradated set of teeth (60). A cam (42) pivots an engagement member (40) to adjust a spacing between the engagement surface (38) and the grinding bit to select a size of resulting particles.

L'invention concerne un module broyeur permettant la mouture d'épices ou de céréales présentant un mécanisme de mouture comprenant un levier monté rotatif autour d'un axe de levier, un foret broyeur monté rotatif autour d'un axe rotatif de foret broyeur, ledit axe rotatif étant au moins approximativement parallèle à l'axe de levier, et un élément de liaison couplé au foret broyeur et couplé au levier afin de transférer le mouvement rotatif du levier vers le foret broyeur. Ce dernier peut être cylindrique et comporter un ensemble de dents graduées. Une came fait tourner une surface d'emboîtement afin d'ajuster un espacement entre la surface d'emboîtement et le foret broyeur de manière à sélectionner une dimension des particules ainsi obtenues.
