Apparatus for growing plants (10) comprising a frame (11) having one or more substantially vertical side walls (14) in the form of a rigid sheet of mesh. The sheet of mesh defines an array of openings (20) for receiving a plurality of receptacles (12). The receptacles (12) each receive soil in which a plant is to be grown. Each receptacles (12) is supported by the frame (11) within one of the openings (20) such that an upper end of each of the receptacles (12) is located on one side of the side wall (14) and a lower end of said receptacle (12) is located on a second opposite side of the side wall (14).

L'invention concerne un appareil de culture de plantes (10) présentant une armature (11) pourvue d'une ou de plusieurs parois latérales sensiblement verticales (14) sous la forme d'une plaque grillagée rigide. Cette plaque grillagée définit un ensemble d'ouvertures (20) destinées à recevoir une pluralité de réceptacles (12). Ces réceptacles (12) contiennent chacun la terre de culture d'une plante. Chaque réceptacle (12) est supporté par l'armature (11) à l'intérieur d'une des ouvertures (20), de sorte qu'une extrémité supérieure du réceptacle (12) est située sur un côté de la paroi latérale (14) et une extrémité inférieure dudit réceptacle (12) est située sur le côté opposé de cette paroi latérale (14).
