The present invention relates to an apparatus for handling strapped units of boards, said apparatus comprising a stacker carrier (5) capable of moving the strapped units (2) placed on a support bed (4) in a storage area into storage stacks and off from said storage stacks, respectively. To the opposite sides of said stacker carrier (5) are adapted lift units (23, 24) adapted so as to be individually movable and arranged to cooperate so as to elevate/lower the strapped units of boards resting on said support bed (4). The invention also concerns a support bed suitable for use in the apparatus.
Appareil destiné au maniement d'unités liées de planches, ledit appareil comportant un dispositif de transport et d'empilement (5) capable de déplacer les unités (2) liées placées sur une palette (4) dans une zone de stockage et d'empiler lesdites unités et de prélever des unités de piles de stockage. Des unités de levage (23, 24) installées sur les cotés opposés du dispositif de transport et d'empilement (5) sont adaptées pour être déplacées individuellement et sont disposées de manière à coopérer pour lever/baisser les unités liées de planches reposant sur ladite palette (4). La présente invention concerne également une palette adaptée pour être utilisée dans ledit appareil.
