An apparatus for heating a building (1) using a heat pipe is disclosed. A number of passive heat transfer modules (2) are provided in the building (14), and each one comprises an evaporator (3) arranged, e.g., outside the space to be heated, and a number of condensers (41-43) with radiative elements (71-73) arranged inside the space (1) and an adiabatic circuit (5) connecting the evaporator (3) to the above-mentioned condensers. The heat transfer fluid in each module (2) and the pressure reigning therein are selected so that, in use, the temperature in the condensers (41-43) is relatively low, e.g. 150 ·C. Said heating apparatus may be used to provide heating in an explosive atmosphere.
La présente invention concerne une installation de chauffage d'un bâtiment (1) par caloduc. Selon l'invention, plusieurs modules (2) de transfert thermique passifs sont associés au bâtiment (14), et comprennent chacun un vaporiseur (3) disposé par exemple à l'extérieur de l'enceinte à chauffer, et plusieurs condenseurs (41 à 43), avec des structures radiatives (71 à 73), disposés dans l'enceinte (1), et un circuit adiabatique (5) reliant le vaporiseur (3) et les condenseurs précités. Le fluide caloporteur dans chaque module (2) et la pression interne de ce dernier sont déterminés pour établir en fonctionnement, dans les condenseurs (41 à 43), une température relativement basse, par exemple de l'ordre de 150 ~C. Une installation de chauffage conforme à l'invention peut être utilisée pour assurer un chauffage en atmosphère explosible.
