The bagging apparatus comprises a frame defining an opening for receiving bundles to be sheathed, bag retraining hook members mounted to the frame and displaceable between a retracted position for receiving an expandable sheath and an extended position where the sheath is stretched for allowing bundles to be introduced into the sheath through the upstream open ended portion thereof. Advancement mechanisms are provided for displacing the bundles through the bagging apparatus. A sealing unit located on a downstream side of the frame is operational for wrapping bundles into individual hermetic bags taken from the sheath. A loading arm may also be provided for installing the sheath onto the bag retaining hook members.
L'invention concerne un appareil de conditionnement comportant un cadre délimitant une ouverture destinée à recevoir des paquets à envelopper, des crochets de retenue de sacs montés sur le cadre et pouvant se déplacer entre une position rentrée permettant de recevoir une gaine extensible et une position sortie dans laquelle la gaine est étirée de manière que les paquets puissent y être introduits par sa partie ouverte amont. Des mécanismes d'avance sont prévus pour déplacer les paquets dans l'appareil de conditionnement. Une unité de scellement située sur un côté aval du cadre permet d'envelopper les paquets dans des sacs hermétiques individuels formés à partir de la gaine. Un bras de chargement peut également être prévu pour installer la gaine sur les crochets de retenue des sacs.
