- 1 - ABSTRACT A device to introduce a liquid into the hypoderma, the device includes a reservoir which receives a gas under pressure the gas is delivered via a valve to an interacting piston and cylinder. When the gas is delivered to the piston the piston moves to eject a liquid from a capsule mounted within the device. The liquid contained in the capsule is then ejected through a nozzle located against the skin of the user.
