ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An apparatus for informing a parking position of an automobile has a mat switch which is disposed in a predetermined positional relationship within a parking space and which has electric contacts embedded therein for being closed when depressed under a weight of the automobile. A transmitter is disposed in the mat switch and transmits radio wave signals when the electric contacts are closed. A receiver is disposed away from the mat switch and receives the radio wave signals to give necessary information.
