A pharmaceutical delivery apparatus including a housing (22) , a syringe assembly, and a needle (44) cap. The syringe assembly is plungeable relative to the housing from a first position, at which its needle tip is disposed within the housing, to a second position, at which its needle tip projects from the housing beyond the proximal end for insertion into an injection site. A base (46) of the needle cap is exposed at the housing proximal end to be manually grippable for cap removal. A needle cap stem is upstanding from the base and sized and configured to insert through an opening is the housing proximal end to cover the needle tip when the syringe assembly is disposed in the first position. The needle cap base further includes a plurality of distally projecting cams (54, 258) located radially outward of the stem. The cams are fittable within slots (40, 240) in the housing proximal end when the cap is fully mounted to the apparatus.
La présente invention concerne un appareil de distribution de produit pharmaceutique comprenant un logement (22), un ensemble seringue et un capuchon d~aiguille (44). L~ensemble seringue peut plonger par rapport au logement à partir d~une première position, au niveau de laquelle son extrémité d~aiguille est disposée à l'intérieur du logement, vers une seconde position, au niveau de laquelle son extrémité d~aiguille se projette depuis le logement au-delà de l~extrémité proximale pour une insertion dans un site d~injection. Une base (46) du capuchon d~aiguille est exposée au niveau de l~extrémité proximale du logement pour pouvoir être attrapée à la main pour le retrait du capuchon. Une tige de capuchon d~aiguille se dresse depuis la base et est dimensionnée et configurée pour s~insérer à travers une ouverture dans l~extrémité proximale du logement pour recouvrir la pointe de l~aiguille lorsque l~ensemble seringue est disposé dans la première position. Le capuchon d~aiguille comprend en outre une pluralité de cames faisant saillie de manière distale (54, 258) situées de manière radiale vers l~extérieur de la tige. Les cames sont réglables dans des fentes (40, 240) dans l~extrémité proximale du logement lorsque le capuchon est entièrement monté sur l~appareil.
