ABSTRACT A moulding apparatus combined with a device for injecting plastics material, elastomers or other materials forms an injection press. The injection moulding apparatus according to the invention comprises a stationary plate and a movable plate supporting the two halves of a mould, a plate forming a bearer and a device for the displacement of and locking of the movable plate. These plates are mounted to be stationary or to slide on a chassis formed by sectional members 4 and bear against rectangular frames. Several rectangular frames ensure the distribution of the forces transmitted by the stationary plates.
