A living body feature input device comprising a one-dimensional or quasi-one- dimensional image sensor. When a finger and the image sensor slide relatively, a finger travel guide guides the finger not to touch the effective pixel part of the image sensor but to keep a substantially constant distance between them. An image processing section joins an image of light scattered in the finger and radiated from the skin surface of the finger to a one-dimensional or quasi-one-dimensional partial image picked up by the image sensor during relative sliding.
La présente invention décrit un dispositif d'entrée de caractéristiques corporelles comprenant un capteur d'image unidimensionnelle ou quasi-unidimensionnelle. Lorsqu'un doigt et le capteur d'image glissent de manière relative, un guide de déplacement du doigt guide le doigt afin qu'il n'entre pas en contact avec la partie de pixel effective du capteur d'image mais garde une distance sensiblement constante entre eux. Une section de traitement d'image unit une image de lumière diffusée dans le doigt et rayonnée depuis la surface de peau du doigt et une image partielle unidimensionnelle ou quasi-unidimensionnelle, prise par le capteur d'image au cours du glissement relatif.
