21712-203 Abstract Apparatus for Installing a Winding Sleeve in a Winding Machine An apparatus for installing a winding sleeve in a wind- ing machine with at least one support roller and at least two adjustable rolling-up brackets with opposed spindles that receive the winding sleeve, in which at least one of the winding sleeve grippers can pivot between a winding sleeve insertion position, and a winding sleeve release position that aligns the sleeve axially with the spindles. The winding sleeve gripper can be arranged on a guide traverse above the support roller, or can be arranged so as to pivot and telescope on a pressure roller traverse or other traverse at the side of the support roller.
