ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Apparatus for irradiation treatment of temperature sensitive material is disclosed, wherein a radiation source supporting frame is movable from a screened, inoperative position, wherein the frame is usually immersed in a water bath or the like, to an operative position, wherein the frame is located out of the bath. By moving the frame into the operative position, the frame becomes connected to a coolant supply source for circulating the coolant through the frame.
