ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Apparatus is disclosed for simultaneously laying plastic tape and plastic pipe underground. An earth splitting tool and a wing-type hollow laying head are attached to a frame for providing a slit in the ground and for widening the slit below ground level. Means are provided for dispensing plastic tape and plastic pipe, for folding the plastic tape, and for unfolding the plastic tape in the underground widened slit.
