A b s t r a c t : (referring to fig. 1) Apparatus for lifting articles, especially packs, for form- ing dischargeable stacks. An apparatus is described having on both sides of the con- veyor (12) a rotating conveying segment (16, 17) each for lifting the packs (11) and having coaxially thereto below the conveying segments (16, 17) an oscillating holding seg- ment (18, 19) each.
