ABSTRACT The reduction of electromagnetic interference radiation from electrical component housings is enhanced due to electrically conductive adapter rings each connected to associated electrically conductive cable shields. The rings and cables are engaged and retained by an electrically conductive bar attached to the housing and adapted to receive the rings, and thereby discharge electromagnetic signals to the housing ground potential.
