ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: An apparatus for loading ion echange resins into an ion exchanger comprising a hopper, and a reception chamber located beneath the hopper. The chamber has an outlet port to which is connected a discharge chute and a flexible outlet tube located in the extension of the chute. First transfer means are located in the reception chamber for transferring the resin to the outlet tube. Second transfer means are located in the outlet tube and over the entire length of the latter for transferring the resin to a funnel for loading the ion exchanger. An unbending chamber is located between the hopper and the reception chamber and in which is located a rotary shaft supporting a plurality of arms. The first and second transfer means are in each case constituted by a helical spring driven by a geared motor.
