An apparatus for brewing ground, brewable foodstuffs having a water reservoir (102), a boiler (204), and a flow meter (200) all connected in as common fluid path with a pump (202) that produces a fluid pressure in the common fluid path. A pod holder (110) capable o receiving a pod formed of filter material and containing a mass of ground, brewable foodstuffs having a sieved bottom is located so as to receive the metered volume of water from the common fluid path. In turn, a fluid conduit (403, 404) is positioned to receive fluid passing through the sieved bottom and to convey the fluid in to one or more cups. With this apparatus a small quantity of a brewed liquid, such a coffee, can be produced in a relatively short brewing period with a pleasing taste profile. The fluid pressure may also be adjusted so as to enhance the creation of a crema layer in a coffee drink.
L'invention concerne un appareil pour filtrer des aliments moulus pouvant être filtrés, cet appareil comprenant un réservoir d'eau (102), une bouilloire (204) et un débitmètre (200), tous ces éléments étant reliés dans un conduit fluidique commun avec une pompe (202) qui produit une pression fluidique dans ce conduit fluidique. Un support pour dosette (110), destiné à recevoir une dosette formée d'un matériau filtrant contenant un volume d'aliment moulu pouvant être filtré et doté d'un fond tamis, est placé de manière à recevoir la mesure d'eau du conduit fluidique commun. En outre, un conduit fluidique (403, 404) est positionné pour recevoir un fluide qui traverse le fond tamis et pour transporter ce fluide dans une ou plusieurs tasses. Cet appareil permet de produire une petite quantité de liquide filtré, comme du café, en un temps de filtrage relativement court, ce liquide ayant un goût agréable et la pression fluidique pouvant également être réglée pour augmenter la formation d'une couche crémeuse dans une boisson au café.
