An apparatus and a method for manufacturing molten pig iron by using a fine iron ore are disclosed. Coal is used to produce a reducing gas, and a fine iron ore is used to produce a molten iron and a reduced iron in a simple and efficient manner. The apparatus for manufacturing a molten iron by directly using coal as the fuel according to the present invention is characterized as follows. A high temperature reducing gas is sent from a melter-gasifier (11) for a fluidized bed lime stone calcining furnace (12) to calcine lime stone. Then the reducing gas is supplied to a second fluidized bed reducing furnace (13) so as to manufacture a reduced iron directly. An off-gas from the second fluidized bed reducing furnace (13) is supplied to a first fluidized bed reducing furnace (14) (disposed above the second fluidized bed reducing furnace (13)) to pre-heat and pre-reduce the fine iron ore. The calcined lime stone and the finally reduced iron are supplied to a melter-gasifier (11) to manufacture a molten pig iron.
Cette invention concerne un appareil et un procédé qui permettent de produire de la fonte brute en fusion à partir d'un minerai de fer fin. On utilise du charbon afin de produire un gaz réducteur, tandis que l'on utilise du minerai de fer fin afin de produire du fer en fusion et du fer réduit, ceci de manière simple et efficace. L'appareil décrit dans cette invention et qui permet de fabriquer du fer en fusion en utilisant directement du charbon comme combustible se caractérise par les traits suivants. Un gaz réducteur à haute température est envoyé d'un four de fusion-gazéificateur (11) vers un four de calcination de castine à lit fluidisé (12) qui va calciner ladite castine. Le gaz réducteur est ensuite envoyé vers un second four de réduction à lit fluidisé (13) de manière à produire directement du fer réduit. Un effluent gazeux provenant du second four de réduction à lit fluidisé est envoyé vers un premier four de réduction à lit fluidisé (13) situé en amont du second (13), ceci de manière à préchauffer et à préréduire le minerai de fer fin. La castine calcinée et le fer finalement réduit sont envoyés vers un four de fusion-gazéificateur (11) afin de produire de la fonte brute en fusion.
