ABSTRACT For the sake of preventing deformation of corrugation in a corrugated conductive tape utilized as a screened layer for screened cables or as an outer conductor for coaxial cables due to pulling tension of the screened cable, the apparatus for manufacturing screened cables of the present invention is arranged in such that the corrugated conductive tape is trans- ferred at the same rate as that of its cable core in the case when its insulating layer on the cable core is covered with corrugated conductive tape by the use of a forming means.
