An apparatus for measuring outdoor temperature and humidity includes a substantially square box body which has a LCD screen located on the front side, a temperature sensor and a humidity sensor located on the rear side, and an openable cover plate located on the rear side thereof. The screen has an upper and a lower frame to adhere to a glass. The cover plate may block sunshine and guard the temperature sensor and the humidity sensor against rain water. The body further includes a control circuit and a microprocessor connecting to the temperature sensor and the humidity sensor for displaying outdoor temperature and humidity values on the LCD screen located on the exterior of the glass. The invention may be installed without skilled technicians and save installation time and wiring operation. Outdoor temperature and humidity may be known indoors.
