An apparatus for measuring the temperature of a gasification reactor using an optical pyrometer is disclosed. In one embodiment the apparatus may include a feed injector adapted to receive light conduits. The feed injector (2) includes a feed injector tip (6) having an opening, the feed injector tip being in fluid communication with a feed inlet (8) and a flange connector (4), the flange connector being in optical alignment with the opening of the feed injector tip. A blind flange (10) should be sized to fit on the flange connector of the feed injector and thereby form a gas pressure resistant seal. A pressure sealing gland (12) is fitted in the blind flange such that a light conduit (22a or 22b) can pass through the blind flange and that the receiving end of the light conduit extends into the feed injector such that the light receiving end of the light conduit is in optical alignment with the opening of the feed injector tip. An optical coupler (26a or 26b) functions as an optical connection between the light transmitting end of the light conduit to a fiber optic cable (28a or 28b) and thus to an optical pyrometer.
Cette invention se rapporte à un appareil servant à mesurer la température d'un réacteur de gazéification au moyen d'un pyromètre optique. Dans un mode de réalisation, cet appareil peut comprendre un injecteur d'alimentation destiné à recevoir des conduits de lumière. L'injecteur d'alimentation (2) comporte une pointe (6) ayant une ouverture, cette pointe se trouvant en communication fluidique avec une entrée d'alimentation (8) et avec un raccord à bride (4), lequel est placé en alignement optique avec l'ouverture de la pointe de l'injecteur d'alimentation. Une bride aveugle (10) est dimensionnée de façon à s'adapter sur le raccord à bride de l'injecteur d'alimentation et de façon à former ainsi un joint résistant à la pression des gaz. Une boîte étanche à la pression (12) est adaptée dans la bride aveugle, pour qu'un conduit de lumière (22a ou 22b) puisse passer à travers la bride aveugle et pour que l'extrémité réceptrice du conduit de lumière s'étende dans l'injecteur d'alimentation, l'extrémité réceptrice de lumière du conduit de lumière se trouvant alors en alignement optique avec l'ouverture de la pointe de l'injecteur d'alimentation. Un coupleur optique (26a ou 26b) sert de connexion optique entre l'extrémité émettrice de lumière du conduit de lumière et un câble à fibres optiques (28a ou 28b) et, par conséquent, un pyromètre optique.
