L'invention concerne un appareil d'un type incluant une plaque de substrat (12), un jeu (16) de microélectrodes disposées sur la face supérieure (14) de la plaque de substrat (12) et un réservoir (24) capable de contenir des cellules vivantes et un liquide de perfusion, et qui inclut une jupe verticale cylindrique latérale (36) qui est ouverte vers le haut et qui entoure une zone incluant ledit jeu (16) de microélectrodes ; la jupe latérale (36) étant fixée d'une manière étanche et détachable à la plaque de substrat (12).
