ABSTRACT "Improvements in or relating to an apparatus for medical treatment" An apparatus for delivering a stream of heated humidified air to the nasal mucusa of a patient for the treatment of the common cold or allergic rhinitis comprises means to supply a stream of air under pressure and means to supply water under pressure to an outlet member, the air flowing into space, through a heater, to the outlet nozzle, and the water flowing through conduits, through heater, and through appropriate control valves to be injected by inject needles into the stream of air so that the air is humidified and heated before it is injected into the nostrils of the patient.
