APPARATUS FOR MELTING AND DISPENSING THERMOPLASTIC MATERIAL Abstract of the Disclosure An apparatus for melting and dispensing thermoplastic material comprising a hopper, a grid melter, a reservoir and a pump. At least a portion of the hopper is enclosed within a shroud so as to define an air flow chamber around the lower end of the hopper. Air is forced through this chamber when the appa- ratus is in use so as to cool the hopper and prevent molten mater- ial from backing up into the hopper.
