Apparatus suitable for mounting on a tractor, and capable of providing opposed movement to a pair of cooperating implements suitable for digging or lifting. The apparatus has a frame with an upper central region and two laterally spaced lower regions, and two movable arms, each capable of holding one of the implements. Each arm has an inner end pivoted to the frame at one of the lower regions by a pivot which restricts movement of the arm, relative to the frame, to an inclined pivot plane, the pivot planes being situated to both slope downwardly and inwardly and meet at a line of intersection which is below and symmetrically between the pivots. A linkage arrangement is provided connecting the central upper region of the frame to each arm, and power cylinder means are provided for moving the arms in their inclined pivot planes.
Appareil conçu pour être installé sur un tracteur et pour transmettre un mouvement opposé à une paire d'instruments associés dont la fonction consiste à creuser ou à soulever. Cet appareil comporte un bâti muni d'une section centrale supérieure et de deux sections inférieures latérales espacées, ainsi que de deux bras mobiles capables de tenir chacun l'un des instruments. Chacun des bras comporte une extrémité interne articulée par rapport au bâti au niveau de l'une des sections inférieures grâce à un pivot qui limite le mouvement du bras par rapport au bâti, à un plan de pivot incliné, ces plans de pivot étant orientés de telle sorte qu'ils penchent tous les deux vers le bas et l'intérieur en se rencontrant à une ligne d'intersection située sous ces pivots et disposée symétriquement entre les deux. Une tringlerie incorporée relie la section centrale supérieure du bâti de chaque bras, et des vérins de commande servent à déplacer les bras dans les plans de pivot inclinés.
