The present invention relates to a nuclear waste disposal apparatus, a method of manufacturing the same, and a method of installing the same. The apparatus is manufactured by packing nuclearwaste intoa vessel, installing the vessel into a ring-shaped elastic body such as a discarded tire used on a truck or a large-sized bus, covering the vessel storing the nuclear waste therein with high-strength reinforced concrete, and installing pieces of structural steel in a space of the elastic body so that the apparatus can endure heavy loads and natural disasters such as earthquakes.

La présente invention concerne un appareil pour stocker des déchets nucléaires, un procédé pour le fabriquer et un procédé pour l'installer. Le procédé pour fabriquer cet appareil consiste à conditionner des déchets nucléaires dans une enceinte, à installer cette enceinte dans un corps élastique de forme annulaire, tel qu'un pneu jeté au rebut utilisé sur un camion ou sur un bus de grande taille, à recouvrir l'enceinte stockant les déchets nucléaires avec du béton armé très résistant, puis à installer des pièces d'acier de construction dans un espace du corps élastique, de manière que l'appareil puisse supporter de lourdes charges et des catastrophes naturelles, telles que des tremblements de terre.
