There is provided an innerspring assembly used in a mattress for absorbing external loads. An outermost coil spring (115) of a spring array (110) is secured in a space between upper and lower border wires (120 and 120') by pins (140), and helical coils (130) are disposed in row directions (R) on upper and lower portions of the spring array (110) to knit an adjacent coil spring (115), such that each coil spring has a free terminal convolution (115a) protruded from an upper portion of the upper border wire (120) and/or a lower portion of the lower border wire (120'). The spring assembly includes an enclosure (10) partially or fully provided on an upper end portion and/or an lower end portion of the coil spring for covering the terminal convolution (115a) in the row direction (R) or column direction (L), thereby interrupting interference between the terminal convolution (115a) and the upper and/or lower border wire (120 and 120') and absorbing a lateral load applied to the terminal convolution. A padding member is not damaged by the terminal convolution, and a contact resistance between the upper border wire and the terminal convolution is absorbed to block a frictional noise.
La présente invention concerne un ensemble ressort intérieur utilisé dans un matelas pour absorber les charges extérieures. Un ressort à boudin le plus extérieur (115) d'un réseau de ressorts (110) est maintenu au moyen d'agrafes (140) dans un espace délimité par les tiges de contour du dessus (120) et du dessous (120'). Des ressorts hélicoïdaux (130) sont disposés par rangées (R) sur les parties supérieures et inférieures du réseau de ressorts (110) pour mailler un ressort à boudin adjacent (115), de façon que chaque ressort à boudin comporte une spire terminale libre (115a) dépassant d'une partie supérieure de la tige de contour supérieure (120) et/ou dépassant d'une partie inférieure de la tige de contour inférieure (120'). L'ensemble ressort comporte une poche (10) réalisée en tout ou partie sur une partie de l'extrémité supérieure et/ou sur une partie de l'extrémité inférieure du ressort de façon à couvrir la spire terminale (115a) en largeur (R) ou en longueur (L). On interrompt de cette façon l'interférence entre la spire terminale (115a) et les tiges de contour du dessus (120) et/ou du dessous (120'), tout en absorbant les charges latérales s'appliquant à la spire terminale. La spire terminale ne vient pas abîmer le matelassage. En outre, la résistance au contact entre la tige de contour du dessus et la spire terminale est absorbée de façon à empêcher tout bruit de frottement.
