ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Apparatus for perforating packages of cigarettes or cigarillos comprising, on the one hand, a housing sheath for a portion of a package of cigarettes or of cigarillos and, on the other hand, means for perforation of the cigarettes or cigarillos manually displaceable in the sheath to perforate these cigarettes or cigarillos. In the case where the cigarettes or cigarillos are disposed in one row or in two rows with their median planes perpendicular to the parallel planes of the rows, the sheath comprises two flexible jaws movable towards one another. At least one of the jaws is provided with points or similar members constituting the above-noted perforation means at the time of relative approach of these jaws.
