An apparatus for preventing leakage of a material inside a bulb for a plasma lighting system comprises a bulb containing a discharge material therein for emitting light as the discharge material becomes a plasma state by an electric field, and a magnetic field forming portion for preventing the discharge material of a plasma state from being leaked by an external electric field of the bulb by forming a magnetic field at a peripheral portion of the bulb. The discharge material is prevented from being leaked out of the bulb even if the bulb is used for a long time, and thus a lifespan of the bulb is prolonged.

L'invention porte sur un appareil permettant d'éviter les fuites d'un matériau à l'intérieur d'une ampoule d'un système d'éclairage plasma. Cet appareil comprend une ampoule contenant un matériau de décharge pour émettre la lumière au moment où le matériau de décharge passe à l'état de plasma sous l'effet d'un champ électrique, et une section formant un champ magnétique pour empêcher le matériau de décharge à l'état de plasma de s'échapper sous l'effet d'un champ électrique externe de l'ampoule en formant un champ magnétique au niveau d'une section périphérique de l'ampoule. Le matériau de décharge ne peut ainsi s'échapper de l'ampoule, même si celle-ci est utilisée sur une longue durée, ce qui permet de prolonger sa durée de vie.
