ABSTRACT Am improved printhead of the type in which setting wheels for print bands are supported on a concave surface on a body at the other end of which the print bands are supported in a print field, in which the body is located between separate side plates. A setting mechanism is located with an opening defined by the print wheels and is supported by a sleeve engaged on an opening in one side plate. The body is located by longitudinally spaced studs engaging recesses in the side plates.
